On Sunday we took a trip out to Phoenix Park for something to do. Shortly after we arrived the weather started to change and It became rather nippy. Not that we were going to let that dampen our spirits. As we told Holly we were going to see if we can find the Gruffalo and the little brown mouse.

The first thing we saw was a lovely graffitied wall. Which of course me being me I just had to get a picture of the girls in front of it. *Unfortunately if you would like to see this picture, I’m afraid you’re gonna have to pop back on Wednesday to see it.*

Behind the big curved graffitied wall there were some big rocks which formed a circle. When Ella spotted these she just had to climb up on them. Which also meant Holly had to climb up on them too.

After a bout of posing for me I told Ella she could jump on the big rock. Haha I did this in the hope of getting a nice action shot *tut-tut selfish mommy*.  Or was I ? Hmmm I’ll leave that for you to decide after you see the smile on her face below.

How cute does Holly look trying to jump here. In the end daddy held her little hand and helped her jump off the rock.

At the top of this blanket of flowers were some animal statues which the girlies were delighted to discover.

There was a goat and a little off to the other side there were some sheep too.

Ella picked this flower for the soul purpose of posing with it. Oh bless her she’s such a little sweetheart.

It was then I decided to put some of the little yellow flowers in Ella’s hair, which she absolutely loved!

Unfortunately the rain decided to grace us with it’s presence so our visit was shortly lived. And it also meant that we had one very unhappy little toddle pop, as we didn’t get to explore the woods to find the Gruffalo and the little brown mouse. Needless to say this made for an interesting car ride to Sainsburys.

I’m linking up with Em from SnowingIndoors and Aby from YouBabyMeMummy for the fabulous linky that is #PointShoot.
