Saturday we spent just about all day dress hunting. Which was very unsuccessful and a total waste of time in my opinion. As we ended up empty handed even after driving to Castleford in hope of finding something! When we weren’t hunting for dresses we were grocery shopping and feeding  the horses.

Sunday morning we started off colouring before heading out around lunchtime to head into town to hunt once more for dresses. This time we had a little success as we managed to find a couple of dresses in BHS. Afterwards we checked out a few other stores before heading to Claire’s where we purchased some pretty headbands to go with the dresses.

Once we left town we headed across the river to The Range to buy me some glitter pens and watercolours. Then it was off to Sainsburys to fill the car and purchase more carrots to feed the horses.

I decided when we got home that we should take the girls out to the park for what was left of the afternoon. As promised Ella got to take her new scooter out that she got for her birthday last year. This was only the second time ever that she’s been out on it, as she hasn’t had the strength to power it until now. Well once she knew she could do it she was estatic. So much so that when she wasn’t doting on her little sister in the park she was happily riding her scooter.

Gosh even Holly gave it a little go and to our amazement she could get it going a little bit.

Upon retuning home I built the girls a little den which Ella read the Gruffalo to Holly in. All whilst I washed dishes and prepared dinner for us all.
